Socially responsible Investing in green companies encompasses more than alternative fuel investments. It includes construction, conservation, jobs & energy.

Going green started as individual campaigns about recycling trash of homeowners in small town communities across America. It led to other green ideas from saving and developing alternative energy to a new type of environmental investing: green funds and green stocks -- a responsible outlook that the planet was a small place and should be preserved for our children’s children.

Small & Large Sustainable Companies with Green Certification Open the Door to Green Investing

Green ideas flourished to business and sustainable investing in environmentally-friendly products like cleaning products that won’t harm the earth and industries that create green energy like solar energy, electric cars, and maker of wind turbines. Now what seemed impossible a few years ago, to most guys like me, makes perfect sense.

New green ideas led to new green businesses created by stimuli and subsidies from the Congress, especially the energy bill that was passed in 2005. Most people now understand the urgency. As we move to alternative bio fuels, energy, new green building materials, green building design, stricter emissions, and other new green technology jobs, renewable energy grants, incentives, and Green loans have been created, opening up sustainable investing into mutual funds in the Green network that offer solutions to the global problems that are here now and bound for the future.

Socially Responsible Mutual Funds Called Green Funds Promote Environmentle Responsibilty

Green businesses that prosper offer jobs during a time when unemployment is at an all time high and people struggle to make the transition to the new age of technology. New green earth jobs are created, including green architects, environmental science jobs, ecology jobs, green engineering, and techs to fill the openings that the new green industries that will come.

As green companies get bigger, green sustainable investing with them gets less speculative. Companies involved with alternative fuels and the environmental concerns are certified by the Institute for Green Business Certification , a program for small and large companies that aid in green marketing and environmental management and stability. Even web hosting companies are green certified.

Green Fund Investing In Green Stocks & Green Bonds Are Propelled By Government Standards

There are green mutual funds , green bonds, and green stocks for green companies that are working on projects like smart grids, electric cars, solar and wind power, bio fuels, green building, and recycling that are constantly eyeballed for breakout. Green electric, nuclear, energy efficient incandescing lighting, and the high tech coal industry with low emission scrubbers are just a few. The green companies involved in green funds are not all consumer-driven, but subsidized by goverment regulation. They are starting to pay off. Over the next few years watch for stricter auto emissions in places like China and Russia.

Green investment funds will include big companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and that promote environmental responsibility. They may produce products that have no impact on the environment or are constructed from eco-friendly materials. These companies will leave little or no carbon foot print, and they will use r esponsible packaging, water conservation, and methods to reduce waste and recycling. Each green company develops their own philosophy to help sustain the global effort in their own community.

Socially conscious investing is on the rise. Going green, and ethical and sustainable practices are here to stay. What started a dozen or so years ago with the green recycle plastic container in the kitchen now seems to have become a big reality. Remember what Kermit the frog sang about: It's Not Easy Being Green It's not but it's coming.
